Our History

Kelps Window Cleaning has worked with thousands of satisfied customers since we began our business more than 36 years ago.

We can handle any type of windows you may have. From older-style wood storms, metal triple-track storms, and thermal windows, to small individual squares or large picture windows — we can easily and safely reach up to three stories.

We use drop cloths in all immediate work areas of your home to ensure your floors and carpet are protected. We will move and replace any furniture and pull back draperies that may be in the way. The only thing we ask of the homeowner is to move any breakables. We always leave your home looking cleaner and brighter than when we arrived.

We pride ourselves on being on time, every time, for every appointment — whether providing a written estimate or arriving on the day your service is scheduled.

Call us today for your free estimate and see what makes us the right choice for all your window, snow plowing, gutter, and light fixture needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking.

Yes. We are proud to have been insured through American Family Insurance since we began our business in 1989.

Currently we accept cash or check only. Payment is expected upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

No contract is required for window or gutter cleaning. However, due to the variables associated with snow storms, we do require a contract for snow removal.

An appointment is only needed when we need to come inside your home, or if you've requested a specific date for the work. If you have a maintenance agreement with us, we will schedule your next service, arrive on the scheduled date, and perform the work requested.

Yes, we work all year — with one exception. Gutters that hold water can freeze in winter and must thaw completely before they can be cleaned. We recommend our twice-yearly maintenance service to keep gutters flowing year-round.

It is a common misconception that windows look bad if it rains right after cleaning. The truth is, spots are caused by dust that collects on the glass in the weeks before it rains. Generally, if it rains within a few days after we've cleaned your windows, they will still look great.

What Our Customers Say

Dan Kelps was great to work with. He understood what effort was required to clean gutters on a two-story house. He followed-up promptly after our initial request. He was professional, courteous, and we look forward to using his service again.
